Our philosophy

Growth Through Movement

We believe movement is an essential part of being human. Jiu-Jitsu challenges us to stay calm under pressure, build resilience and continually learn about ourselves. Movement practices open up new ways to explore our potential, support both physical and mental wellbeing, and create balance in our lives. We value the balance between pushing our limits and knowing when to slow down, between individual growth and learning from others. Above all, we believe that these shared experiences create something powerful — a sense of belonging, genuine connection and a community that extends beyond the mats.

Train together. Move together. Grow together.

01 · On the mats

Jiu-Jitsu

Jiu-Jitsu is at the heart of every retreat. Gi and No-Gi sessions led by experienced coaches, adapted to every level, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. The focus is on learning, technique and enjoying the game — staying calm under pressure and learning something about yourself each time you step on the mats.

02 · Movement

Move freely

Human Advantage aims to restore the raw, unrestricted nature of human movement. Mobility, primal movement skills and partner work recondition the fundamentals, and help you communicate through mind and body, in both fight and play.

03 · Strength

Build a capable body

Strength and conditioning sessions support your training and your daily life: simple tools, good coaching and sustainable habits you can take home.

04 · Exploration

Discover the place

Each destination is chosen for its landscapes and its culture. We hike, swim in rivers, climb to viewpoints and take the time to really experience where we are.

05 · Recovery

Slow down

Knowing when to slow down is part of the practice. Breath work, ice baths, natural pools and time to rest keep the balance between effort and recovery.

06 · Community

Around the table

Shared meals, long evenings and new friendships. What people remember most is often the time spent together, off the mats.

Our story

The Human Advantage Experience

Human Advantage was created with a vision to bring together Jiu-Jitsu, movement and the experiences that connect people. Our retreats combine quality training with diverse movement practices, recovery, cultural exploration and shared experiences. Rather than focusing only on time spent on the mats, we bring these elements together to create a well-rounded experience, without compromising the quality of the Jiu-Jitsu itself. Each retreat is thoughtfully curated, from the coaches and destinations to the activities and atmosphere, creating opportunities to learn, explore and connect naturally. It’s about the entire experience — the training, the places we discover, the people we meet and the memories that stay with us long after the retreat ends.

Founded by Sercan Dinç, a first-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with over a decade of experience in coaching, movement and strength and conditioning.
